Tasty treats for the heart and taste buds

In 2001 Mama Margaretha opened her trattoria at the Moarhof. Supported by son and chef Peter and his wife Michaela, she stands at the cooker and spoils her guests with all kinds of delicious dishes. She serves seasonal produce from the farm, fresh herbs from the garden and above all one thing: a whole lot of love.

South Tyrolean cuisine, simply good

We value freshness and quality. That’s why our menu is consciously small but always open to seasonal variety. From Wednesday to Saturday we fill the lunch table with home-made specialities, dumplings, pasta, crisp salads and sweet South Tyrolean desserts.

Eat, enjoy, celebrate

Our trattoria is a place for gourmets, day trippers, families and all those who enjoy eating together and celebrating every now and then to meet. We are pleased to put together individual menus for special occasions. And there is no shortage of room: we can easily accommodate up to 30 guests in the comfortable parlour.

Our breakfast

For our house guests we offer on request a rich and enjoyable breakfast with fresh bread rolls, homemade fruit spreads, our eggs and bacon.

Perfect indulgence for back home

Try our home-made fruit spreads or perhaps our rhubarb and strawberry syrup. You can also find more delicious syrups, various flavoured salts and our own home-smoked bacon in our farm shop, as well as in the nearby local shops.
